This multilingual movie, titled Praana, will be made by popular Malayalam Director VK Prakash and will see Nithya playing an English writer who rises and wages a war against the injustice and intolerance in our society. The movie has a huge technical team, with ace Cinematographer PC.Sreeram and Oscar award-winning sound designer Resul Pookutty.
The Film will be released in Malayalam, Telugu, Tamil, and Kannada, and will have music by composer Louis Banks. Nithya Menen will be seen next in a vital role in the Tamil biggie Mersal opposite Ilayathalapathy Vijay, in which she plays his wife. The film will be released in Tamil and Telugu (as Adhirindhi) on October 18, on eve of Diwali.
