Junior NTR's 'Jai Lava Kusa' which had a dream start dropped on the second week and the negative talk of 'Spyder' helped the movie to get a slight increase in the collections. But that little increase is not enough to get the movie breakeven as the theatrical rights of the movie is 83 Crores and now the movie is nearing the 72 Crores share mark.

As per trade pundits and reports, the movie will lose 10% of the buyer's investment. Just like 'Spyder', 'Jai Lava Kusa' will also be a loss venture in Nizam. The loss would be around 2 Crores. In Ceded, the loss would be 1.5 Crores.

The movie is released on a commission basis in Uttarandhra and it never reaped profits even there. The same distributor has released the movie in Guntur and Krishna and he would face a loss of Rs.2 Crores. East Godavari distributor will lose around 30 Lakhs while West Godavari distributor will lose 70 lakhs.

Nellore distributor is likely to lose 40 Lakhs. When we come outside Telugu speaking states, Karnataka buyer will be losing more than 50 Lakhs and Overseas distributor will face a loss of more than 50 Lakhs.
