While it was recently reported that the Tamil television actress Priya Bhavani Shankar had been committed to star alongside Karthi in a untitled flick directed by Pandiraj and produced by Suriya in his 2D Entertainment banner, the news is out on her next big project.
The actress has been signed to play the second lead in Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi starrer Junga directed by Idharkuthaane Aasaipattai Balakumara fame Gokul, which has Sayyeshaa playing the main heroine. The film will be the costliest project of Vijay Sethupathi at 20 Crores budget and will be produced by the actor himself.
The Karthi project will also be a double heroine subject and will have Anupama Parameswaran playing the second lead. Priya Bhavani Shankar shot to fame after her stint as a newsreader with Puthiya Thalaimurai and her serial Kalyanam mudhal Kadhal Varai in Star Vijay and debuted in films with Meyaadha Maan that released on Diwali.
