The music of Superstar Rajnikanth starrer Director Shankar's 2.0 was launched last Friday, and with the audio by AR Rahman receiving an overwhelming response, the industry is also abuzz with extreme negativity regarding the release of 2.0, which was initially supposed to Release early 2017.
While it must be noted that the makers of 2.0 had initially planned to release the movie by Diwali 2017, it was later pushed to January 25, 2018. However, the poster released by Balki and team's Padman confirmed that the Akshay Kumar starrer will release on January 26, Republic day, which raised suspicions regarding the release of 2.0 which was already said to be in trouble with delays due to graphics works.
While the industry speculated that 2.0 will be pushed to April 13 and that Superstar's next film Pa.Ranjith's Kaala will be advanced, the producer of Kaala, Dhanush himself confirmed that Kaala won't release earlier. Besides, superstar Rajinikanth himself confirmed the same to the press when he returned to Chennai recently.
This puts a chaotic situation to both 2.0 and Kaala, as an April 13 Release would mean that the movie will get sliced between many Tollywood and Kollywood releases. The team is creating chaos with release dates itself. How can a movie which is made on such a whopping budget confuse themselves as well as others? 'Baahubali' team clearly targeted a Summer release and they worked towards it. But '2.O' team is so poor in planning and execution. They have failed in this case even before the release.
