Though it was reported few days back that the actress was committed to play the main female lead in Karthi starrer Director Pandiraj's Next, produced by Suriya in his 2D entertainment banner, it has been revealed today that it will not be Priya Bhavani Shankar, but the Akhil, Vanamagan girl Sayyeshaa who'll be playing the female lead opposite Karthi.
It must be noted that Priya Bhavani Shankar was also committed to star as the second heroine in Vijay Sethupathi starrer Junga, in which Sayyeshaa is the heroine. Thus indirectly Sayyeshaa is Having a huge impact on the film career of Priya, who actually isn't a great performer by any means, but earned craze in no time.
Besides, even in her film debut Meyaadha Maan, more than her, Indhuja who played Vaibhav's sister role, was appreciated much than her. Let's see if Priya Bhavani Shankar can resurrect her career after this big blow.
