The Pretty mallu babe Nithya Menen, who started her Tollywood career on a promising note with the successful Nani starrer Ala Modalaindi, later went on to star in Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam flicks, but couldn't quite achieve the commercial success required to establish herself as a top heroine.
Despite having hits like Malli Malli Idi Rani Roju, Ishq, Ok Kanmani to her credit, the beautiful girl was mostly cast as the second lead or third lead, like Jr NTR's Janatha Garage, Allu Arjun starrer S/O Sathyamurthy, Surya starrer 24 and the recent Vijay starrer Mersal. But, all the movies disappointed her as she was just a second female lead. However, looks like the actress is all set to reclaim lost glory.
While it was reported that the actress will be starring in a Malayalam/Kannada/Telugu trilingual Prana directed by acclaimed maker VK Prakash, the bubbly beauty has now got committed to two important Tollywood projects - the untitled Sudheer Varma flick opposite Sharwanand with whom she pairs for 3rd time after Malli Malli Idi Rani Roju and Rajadhi Raja, and her Ala Modalaindi costar Nani production venture Awe. Let's see if Nithya can achieve huge success in this Innings.
