After years of waiting, and delays and numerous controversies thanks to the political arrival of the lead actor, the shoot has resumed for the much-hyped and expected Vishwaroopam 2, the sequel to the 2013 Blockbuster that was one of the biggest hits of the year and faced numerous controversies after Islamic outfits wanted to ban the movie.
After numerous delays and postponements, the shooting of this spy thriller has resumed today at Chennai, where the crew will shoot for a romantic song and few crucial sequences, and complete the shooting by December. The trailer and 4 songs by Ghibran will be out by December as well. As per sources, the sequel will have more romance portions than the action part.
Directed by Ulaganayagan Kamal Hassan himself, the Movie stars himself, as an intelligence agent Wisam Ahmad Kashmiri aka Vishwanath, and has Andrea Jeremiah and Pooja Kumar paired with him. With almost 85% of the shooting already completed, Kamal plans to wrap shoot as early as possible and Release the movie by January 26, 2018, as a grand republic day treats for his millions of fans.
