Versatile Tamil hero Suriya, known for both his class and mass entertainers like Kaaka Kaaka, Ayan, Vaaranam Aayiram, Singam, Singam 2.etc to name a few, has been going through a lean phase of late, with back to back disasters like Anjaan, Massu engira Maasilamani, and the critically acclaimed 24, and his third installment in Singam series, Si3.
Unfazed by defeats, the actor, who has a great market in Tollywood as well, will next be seen in Thaanaa Serndha Koottam titled Gang in Telugu. Directed by young maker Vignesh Shivan of Naanum Rowdythaan fame (Nayanthara's lover), this movie costarring Keerthy Suresh, Senthil, Ramya Krishnan and Karthik will be releasing on January 12.
Meanwhile, the industry is abuzz with news that Suriya has given his nod to star in a movie directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, who delivered one of the superb success stories of the year, Kanagaraj with Sundeep Kishan. It must be noted that after Thaanaa Serndha Koottam, Suriya will be starring in Selvaraghavan and Irudhi Suttru fame Sudha Kongara's films.
Now, if reports are to be trusted, this new movie with Lokesh is going to feature Keerthi Suresh as the female lead role once again. For the first time, Keerthi Suresh is pairing with the same star actor back-to-back and within a short span!
