Macho man Gopichand who started off as a villain with movies like Jayam, Nijam etc, later ventured into playing a hero and succeeded with continuous success as a much sought after Action hero with films like Yagnam, Ranam, Okkadunnadu etc, before his luck ran out with back to back failures ending his streak.
However, Gopichand was confident of a comeback always, and scored a decent comeback with Loukyam, but soon lost momentum with Soukyam,Jil, and this year too he had two releases - Gautham Nanda which had him in dual roles, and ended a flop despite good openings, and the long-delayed Oxygen which sank without a trace.
Despite the flop record, Gopichand had launched his next movie with Director Chakri helming it, with a formal Pooja a few weeks back, and today, the team began shooting for this untitled movie at Hyderabad. Touted to be a high voltage action packed entertainer, the movie stars hit heroine Mehreen in an extreme glam Avatar (even more sensuous than her Jawaan act), as is common for Gopichand heroines stripping to a swimsuit or bikini. In addition, there's also a lip-lock scene!
