Tamil hero Chiyaan Vikram has a huge fanbase, not just in Tamilnadu, but also in Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana, thanks to the success of his films like Aparichitudu in these states, that made him a rage among Telugu youth audience. Of late, the actor hadn't been able to deliver a remarkable flick on par with Anniyan, nor has been able to come remotely close to his reentry days.
Though Chiyaan Vikram scored a decent commercial success despite mixed reviews with his last release, the dual role treat Irumugan, Vikram is yet to get that huge mass hit on the likes of Dhill, Dhool, Saamy. However, Vikram has now teamed up with Vijay chandar of Vaalu fame, for an action-packed mass masala entertainer Sketch, that is releasing this Sankranthi season. The makers have decided to use Tamanna to get some momentum in Andhra.
While the movie is bankrolled by Ace producer Kalaipuli Thanu, sketch has got an early advantage as popular Telugu producer Suresh Babu will be releasing sketch in Telugu speaking states. It is expected that Sketch will present Chiyaan in a typical mass avatar of a north Madras goon, and costarring Tamannaah and RK Suresh, sketch releases on Pongal.
