The national award-winning, talented young hero Dhanush, known for his stunning and intense performances in movies like Aadukalam and Pollathavan, besides his commercial mass masala Hero acts in movies like Velaiyilla Pattathari aka VIP, is all set for his next mass movie as well.
This time around its Maari 2, the sequel to his 2015 action comedy Superhit by Balaji Mohan. Maari 2 has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja who has joined hands with Dhanush after 10 years (last composed for Yaaradi Nee Mohini), and has Maari regulars like Robot Shankar, besides Sai Pallavi as the heroine, Tovino Thomas as the villain and Varalakshmi Sarathkumar and Kreshna in pivotal roles.
While the title logo of Maari 2 with the tagline the naughtiest don is back, the movie is all set for a mid-2018 Release. Dhanush also has Gautham Menon directorial Enai Nokki Paayum Thotta and Vetrimaran directorial trilogy gangster flick Vada Chennai in his Kitty, scheduled for 2018 release.
