Comedian turned Actor Sunil who considers Pawan as his 'Guru' last had a release as a hero with 2 Countries, the remake of 2016 Malayalam superhit of the same name, that had Dileep and Mamtha Mohandas paired. Directed by N.Shankar after the social drama Jai Bolo Telangana, this poorly made hotchpotch remake ended a colossal failure and ended the hopes of Sunil.
In fact, Sunil had never really tasted a decent Success after Maryada Ramanna and Poola Rangadu, and barring Tadakha where he played one of the heroes alongside Nag Chaitanya, and Bheemavaram Bullodu which fared well, all his movies ended disasters, like Jakkanna, Eedu Gold Ehe, Ungarala Rambabu and krishnashtami produced by Dil Raju.
While he opted out of his Sathuranga Vettai remake, and also couldn't secure a role in Chiru's Sye Raa as well as Trivikram's next flicks, it has now been revealed that Sunil will return as a comedian with Allari Naresh's upcoming flick by Bheemineni Srinivasa Rao, and that this comedian role will have equal screen space as Naresh. With Allari Naresh Also scoring flops one after the other and his last release Meda Meeda Abbayi failing badly, let's see if the flop combo can succeed.
