The year 2016 had a sweet end, with a huge surprise, as the Kannada film industry saw the release of the college flick Kirik Party directed by Rishab Shetty, which starred Rakshit Shetty in lead role, and introduced a cute beauty to the industry, Rashmika Mandanna, who impressed with her cuteness and lovely performance.
Soon, she was flooded with offers in both Sandalwood and Tollywood, and she scored back to back hits in Sandalwood with Anjaniputra opposite Puneet Rajkumar and Chamak opposite Golden star Ganesh. Now, she's all set to make an interesting debut in Tollywood as well, in February.
Rashmika Mandanna will have her first step in Tollywood with the college flick Chalo, costarring Naga Shourya, which is based on a Love tale that involves a college in the border of Tamilnadu - Andhra Pradesh. An interesting thing is that Rashmika has subbed her own lines in Telugu on debut itself, much to the satisfaction of the makers. She also has done glam for Tollywood. Chalo Releases worldwide on February 2.
