Nandamuri Balakrishna has been one hero who has always been active in the industry, delivering one film after the other, irrespective of their results, and has always been a synonym of energy and positivity in the industry. Though the tireless senior hero has seen more of failures than successes in the last decade, he makes sure he bounces back in style.

Last year, he starred in his 100th flick Gautamiputra Satakarni, the historical directed by Krish, which went on to become Balayya's biggest hit despite clashing with Megastar Chiranjeevi's comeback flick, his 150th , Khaidi No 150 by VV Vinayak, which also won at the box office, and immediately followed it with Paisa Vasool by Puri Jagannath, in early September.

This year, after the failure of Paisa Vasool, again Balaiya has made a stunning comeback with his Sankranthi release Jai Simha that has turned the tables, turning out to be a surprise hit, thrashing the mighty opponent Agnyaathavaasi starring Pawan Kalyan with ease. When the movie is still running, he has already revealed his next plans. While he'll begin shoot of NTR biopic in March, he has also announced that he'll play Shri Ramanujacharya, the 11th-century saint, when he turns 60, and added that he enjoys playing real characters on screen.
