2010 saw the release of Thamizh Padam directed by CS Amuthan, and starring Mirchi Shiva and Disha Pandey, which was the first spoof movie of Tamil cinema, and turned out to be a runaway hit, overpowering Venkat Prabhu Directorial Goa, which released alongside it. Interestingly, a sequel to the movie is underway, with the same actor- Director combo.

In 2012, Tollywood witnessed the release of Sudigadu directed by Bheemineni Srinivasa Rao, which was the Telugu remake of the superhit Thamizh Padam, which starred Allari Naresh and Monal Gajjar, and helped the comic Hero score a commercial success after a gap, and resurrect his career, with its decent run.

Now, the actor-director combo is all set to join hands once again for a hilarious entertainer, which will be high on humor and family sentiments, and it has been revealed that this Bheemineni Srinivasa Rao movie begins rolling from January 27. This movie also stars comedian turned hero Sunil in a crucial role, and coincidentally both Allari Naresh and Sunil are on the verge of facing the end of careers with numerous disasters.
