Producer turned actor Udhayanidhi Stalin, the grandson of DMK leader M.Karunanidhi, who started off as a producer with films like Aadhavan, Manmadhan Ambu, later donned the greasepaint and turned Actor with Oru Kal Oru Kannadi, which turned out to be a success, making him star in many other flicks.
While his films have been constantly doing decent business at the box office without ending as loss ventures, the actor is all set to grace screens this Friday, With his upcoming flick Nimir, the Tamil remake of Malayalam Superhit Maheshinte Prathikaram, and is directed by famous maker Priyadarshan, who has even said that Udhay has performed much better than Fahadh Faasil.
With Nimir releasing, Udhay has his hands full, as he'll be starring next in a movie tentatively titled 7 Kinarugal, and starring Shraddha Srinath opposite him and directed by Irumbuthirai fame Mithran Saravanan, and Seenu Ramasamy Directorial Kanne Kalaimaane, besides also the remake of Malayalam hit Happy Wedding. He is expected to pair with Regina with whom he already paired in 'Saravanan Irukka Bayamen'.
