The Biopic of legendary actress Savithri, Mahanati / Nadigaiyar Thilagam has been progressing at a rapid pace, and the film is at its last leg of shooting, while recently, one of its important cast members, Dulquer Salmaan, wrapped his portions for the movie. As the movie is nearing completion, some interesting events have unfolded at the shooting location and we reported them.
The news is that recently the film's lead actress Keerthi Suresh, who plays Savithri in the movie, gifted gold coins to all the crew members of the movie, as she was mighty impressed with the movie and its content, and the way things have shaped up with respect to the output. It must be noted that this is one of the important characteristic of actress Savithri as well, who used to gift her film's crew members.
But, Keerthi Suresh has given with an intention to seek some publicity even before the release. As per reports, Keerthi Suresh has done such a thing as her January releases, 'Agnyathavaasi' and 'Gang' failed miserably at the Box-Office. So, just to cover up those, she exposed this news to the media.
Meanwhile, Mahanati, directed by Nevada Subrahmanyam fame Director Nag Ashwin, was initially scheduled to release on March 29, clashing with Kalyan Ram starrer MLA which was slated to release on March 28, and Ramcharan starrer Rangasthalam planned for March 30. However, now the team Mahanati has decided to delay the movie to May to avoid the huge clash.
