Thala Ajith Kumar, post the success of his last release Vivegam directed by Siva, had committed himself to play the lead role next in Viswasam, once again directed by Siva himself, marking their 4th collaboration after Veeram, Vedhalam and vivegam, and this movie will be bankrolled by Sathyajyoti films who had produced Ajith's previous flick Vivegam.
Initially, after a formal Pooja ceremony months back, it was announced that the film will begin shooting on January 19 following Pongal festivities, but shooting didn't begin on the said date, and now it has been revealed that the shooting of Viswasam is all set to begin on February 22, and the team has planned to wrap shooting formalities by July. The team has now decided to rope in Kajal Aggarwal who already paired with Ajith in 'Vivegam'.
Viswasam is expected to have either Anirudh or Harris Jayaraj composing music, and Anirudh had previously composed for Ajith in Vedhalam and vivegam, and Harris had composed for Yennai Arindhaal. The team is planning to release the movie as a Diwali treat.
