Tollywood has been facing a huge crisis in 2018, with almost the end of first quarter nearing, and none of the Tollywood biggies making their presence felt, especially Agnyaathavaasi becoming a huge disaster, and Jai Simha ending just an average flick at the box office.
With smaller flicks like Chalo turning a hit, and Tholi Prema becoming a blockbuster, and the latest to join the 'small is big' club being the Nani produced Kajal Aggarwal starrer flick Awe, which is raking in the moolah at the box office, with impressive collections, surprising the whole industry.
While biggies have failed so far, this April was supposed to witness the release of two of the biggest entertainers of Tollywood, the Mahesh Babu starrer Bharat Ane Nenu, and the Allu Arjun starrer Naa Peru Surya, both of which were scheduled to release on April 27.
However, after mutual understanding, it has now been announced that the Koratala Siva directed Bharat Ane Nenu will release on April 20, and the Vakkantham Vamsy directed Naa Peru Surya will release on May 4. It must be noted that Superstar Rajnikanth starrer Kaala will release on April 27. So, right now the momentum is with Allu Arjun as all biggies will release before his movie and the month of May can ensure the Summer Holidays.
