The dancing sensation of the 90s, Prabhudeva, who started as a dancer, later ventured into acting, and scored several hits like the Shankar starrer Kadhalan, and turning to be a promising hero, before flattering to deceive, scoring numerous failures as none of his films scored at the box office.
However, he made a stunning return as a director, scoring hits in Tollywood like Nuvvosthanante Nenoddantana, and Wanted, Rowdy Rathore in Hindi, before failing as a director too with several disasters like Endrendrum Kadhal, R Rajkumar, Action Jackson to name a few. However, as an unexpected twist, he returned to acting.
Prabhudeva made a stunning reentry as a hero with AL Vijay Directorial horror comedy Devi, which ended a decent success, and followed it up with Gulaebhagavali which ended a flop. Now, he'll be seen next in a complete dance based flick, Lakshmi, again directed by AL Vijay and costarring Aishwarya Rajesh.This film is scheduled to release in May. It must be noted that Prabhudeva had earlier played lead roles in dance-based flicks like Style in Telugu and ABCD in Hindi.
