Akkineni Nagarjuna, last seen in disastrous flicks like Om Namo Venkatesaya and Raju Gari Gadhi 2, is all set to be seen in a minimum of 3 movies this year, with each of them in a different genre, offering the versatile actor, lots of exploring and expose his acting potential.
While the first of these, directed by Ram Gopal Varma and marking the combo's 4th collaboration, is progressing at a rapid pace and recently, a schedule was initiated at Mumbai. Nagarjuna plays a cop character in the movie, years after he played a cool cop in Puri Jagannath directorial Shivamani.
The second of his releases this year will be the Multi-starrer flick costarring Natural star Nani, directed by Sriram Aditya of Bhale Manchi Roju and Shamantakamani fame, and bankrolled by Aswini Dutt in his Vyjayanthi movies banner. This movie was launched recently on the occasion of Nani's birthday, and Nag had to miss out the launch as he's Busy shooting in Mumbai.
While it is said Nag plays a Don and Nani plays a doctor, it's expected that Anushka Shetty, who struck form with Bhaagamathie will be paired with Nagarjuna, after Super, Don, Damarukam. Watch out this space for more updates.
