Natural star Nani, last seen in the blockbuster movie MCA Middle class Abbayi directed by Venu Sriram and costarring Sai Pallavi, which went on to win at the box office despite mixed reviews, emerged successful as a producer too with his recent release , the Prashanth Varma directorial Multi-starrer Awe with Kajal Aggarwal playing a pivotal role.
His next release, Krishnarjuna Yuddham, directed by Merlapaka Gandhi, was supposed to Release on April 12. However, with superstar Rajinikanth starrer Kaala releasing on April 27, the two Biggies, Mahesh Babu starrer Bharat Ane Nenu and Allu Arjun starrer Naa Peru Surya changed their Release dates from April 27.
With Bharat Ane Nenu releasing on April 20, Krishnarjuna Yuddham might have just 8 days to battle at the box office and hence the makers have planned to push the movie to May 11, a weekend after the release of Naa Peru Surya (May 4). Krishnarjuna Yuddham also stars Anupama Parameswaran and Rushkar Mir, and is Nani's 3rd double action flick after Jendapai Kapiraju and Gentleman.
