Young music composer Anirudh, who began his career 5 years back with the Dhanush starrer Moonu, emerged a successful composer, and a musical sensation, even with his debut album in Moonu, with his Why this Kolaveri Di number shattering youtube records, making him an instant sensation.
The composer, a kin of Superstar Rajinikanth, went on to churn out chartbuster tracks in his later releases like Vanakkam Chennai, Vedhalam, Naanum Rowdythaan, Remo, Vivegam, and even made his Telugu debut in the Powerstar Pawan Kalyan starrer Agnyaathavaasi directed by Trivikram, which released earlier this year. The movie failed so bad and Ani's Telugu debut was such a shameful one. Trusting Pawan blindly was his biggest mistake and now he got a better one!
Now, the young composer has been roped in to compose music for Superstar Rajnikanth himself, for his upcoming movie after Kaala and 2.0, directed by talented young maker Karthik Subbaraj of Pizza and Jigarthanda fame, bankrolled by Sun Pictures. It must be noted that the industry is abuzz with news of Anirudh also being considered to score music for Kamal Haasan starrer, Shankar's Indian 2. With this Superstar project, it has almost become a full circle, as Anirudh has composed hit numbers for all big stars of Kollywood.
