The mallu beauty Nithya Menen who made a stunning debut as a full of life, an energetic girl in the Nani starrer 2011 flick Ala Modalaindi won hearts with her performance and beauty and went on to star in many successful flicks in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada. While she was last seen playing a bold role of a lesbian in the Nani production superhit movie Awe, she had recently revealed one of the important career decisions of her life.

In an interview to a leading English portal, the bubbly beauty had revealed that she had decided that she's not gonna die anymore in movies and that the makers just kill her character for the film to get an emotional high, abruptly ending her character. When she had just taken the decision, one of the Tamil directors known for his rip-offs of Maniratnam movies had come up with a script where she dies, and she incidentally went on to act in the movie despite not being happy with the end to her character.

Nithya went on to say that the makers are making the mistake of keeping things in a box, and typecast heroines, adding that once the makers design the character of an actress in a particular way, they tend to repeat the same for that particular heroine, in all her subsequent films too. Nithya, whose character was killed in her recent films like Awe, Irumugan and even faced an end in 24, revealed that she's gonna break that death pattern. She'll be seen next in the multilingual flick Praana by VK Prakash.
