Actor, Director and Choreographer Prabhudeva, who began as a dance choreographer and then turned an actor, before finally surprising audience with his director avatar, had made a return to acting as the lead, with the 2016 horror comedy Devi, directed by AL Vijay.
Following it, the actor had starred in few more flicks like Kalavadiya Pozhuthugal, Gulaebhagavali to name a few. Now, he's all set to be seen on screen in a typical dance flick in Tamil, once again directed by AL Vijay.
Titled Lakshmi, the film will have Prabhudeva displaying his dancing skills to perfection, and shine as an actor as well, just like he did in dance-based films like ABCD and Style in Hindi and Telugu. This movie will be promoted by Hansika as the star power is too less and she has accepted it willingly to do it.
Prabhudeva said that Lakshmi will be an emotional dance flick, and will appeal to children too, as it has a kid playing an important role, and Aishwarya Rajesh plays the female lead. Apart from Lakshmi, Prabhudeva plays an eerie character in the Karthik Subbaraj directorial silent horror flick, Mercury, releasing on April 13, and will be directing Salman Khan once again after Wanted, for Dabangg 3, by the end of 2018.
