Classy director Shakar Kammula, known for strong content driven flicks like Anand, Godavari, Happy Days, Leader, was last seen delivering the blockbuster movie FIdaa last year, which was actually a surprise hit, as none had expected the movie to do huge business considering Shekar Kammula's form then.
Shekar had delivered two back to back flops after the political entertainer Leader, namely, Life is Beautiful and the remake of Kahani starring Nayanthara, Anamika. So naturally people and the industry had low expectations on Fidaa, which was the debut of the Premam sensation Sai Pallavi.
However, the movie, powered by Sai Pallavi's power-packed act and Shekar Kammula's commendable screenplay, turned out to be a huge blockbuster. Now, the director as always has taken a gap for coming up with his next movie announcement as he wants to strengthen the content and come up with an interesting entertainer. However, one thing is confirmed and it would be the female lead. Yes, Kajal Aggarwal is doing the female lead. This movie will also be bankrolled by Dil Raju.
