Young hero Naga Shourya, who started off in a Promising manner with films like Oohalu Gusagusalade, didn't score a single hit after that, with only Jyo Achyuthananda emerging as a decent success, and his other solo Releases ended disasters, almost sinking his career.
And that was when the young hero made waves on screen last month, with his latest flick Chalo, set in a fictional village Tiruppuram and a Tamil vs Telugu village setup love story, directed by Debutant Venky Kudumula and costarring Sandalwood babe Rashmika Mandanna as his pair.
Produced by Naga Shourya's parents themselves, Chalo went on to be a great success, collecting more than 12 crores at the box office, making it a grand comeback for Naga Shourya and his biggest blockbuster. The film completes 50 days in a huge 45 centers. Rashmika who made her debut in Telugu has tasted a huge success in her first movie itself. Meanwhile, Naga Shourya will be next seen in Kanam, and Venky Kudumula has bagged a movie bankrolled by Haarika and Hassine creations.
