After being in talks for more than two months, and after numerous speculations and hype surrounding the project, the title and the glimpse of the next movie of Vijay Deverakonda were revealed officially by the makers, and the movie has been titled Taxiwaala as reported earlier.
The fun-filled first glimpse of the movie Taxiwaala was named Taxiwaala First Gear, and the promo presents a cool and energetic Vijay Deverakonda driving his mean machine, and going on a high octane ride. The film is expected to be revolving around the car, and the special bonding between the car and the hero.
Directed by debutant Rahul Snakrityan, Taxiwaala is bankrolled by Geetha Arts 2 and UV Creations, and costars debutant Priyanka Jawalkar, and Vijay Deverakonda's Yevade Subramanyam costar Malavika Nair as lead ladies. Priyanka has started her portions recently and she has started the shooting finally. Taxiwaala is expected to release in May.
