Young hero Varun Tej, who had a modest beginning to his career with films like Mukunda, followed it up with the critically acclaimed national award-winning flick Kanche and then starred in the mass flick Loafer, all of which failed commercially.
However, his career took a promising big U-turn in 2017, after he joined hands with Shekar Kammula for Fidaa, costarring Sai Pallavi the pimple Beauty, and the movie turned out to be a surprise blockbuster. Following this movie, his romantic entertainer Tholi Prema also turned out to be a super hit.
Even though the actor's space flick failed, his last release 'F2' was a huge hit. The actor is now likely to do an action thriller under a debutant director and Aditi Rao has been roped in to do the female lead role.
