Sai Pallavi has started her career in films starring as Kangana Ranaut's friend in Dhaam Dhoom and as Meera Jasmine's friend in Kasthuri Maan. However, she had later gone on to pursue her medical studies at Tbilisi, Georgia.
It was when she was pursuing her education at Georgia that Sai Pallavi received the opportunity to star in Nivin Pauly starrer Alphonse Putharen Directorial Premam. The success of the film made her an overnight sensation, and she went on to star in Kali opposite Dulquer Salmaan. Sai Pallavi later debuted in Telugu with Fidaa by Sekhar Kammula and followed it up with another blockbuster MCA Middle class Abbayi with Nani.
Post the success of these movies, she's all set to make her Tamil debut as heroine with AL Vijay directorial Karu, but even before the release of Kar,u she has bagged Biggies like Dhanush starrer Maari 2 and Suriya starrer NGK directed by Selvaraghavan. With so many movie commitments, Sai Pallavi is finding it difficult to continue with medical practice and has now reportedly opted to Concentrate on films and drop the idea of medical practice.
