Akkineni hero Sumanth has been one hero who had it all to excel as a star, but whose career never really took off, despite starring in several impressive outings, both critically and commercially acclaimed outings like Godavari, Golconda High School, etc to name a few.
After a lull, the actor was last seen in the poetic love story Malli Raava, which earned rave reviews from critics all over, and though the movie turned out to be a commercial failure with poor collections, thanks to low key promotions, Malli Rava opened new gateways for Sumanth.
Now, Sumanth is all ready with his 24th movie, and this movie has been titled Idham Jagat. Directed by debutant Anil Srikantam, the movie will have Sumanth as a photojournalist, and the action thriller will have him in a role with unanticipated negative shades.The movie has Premam fame Anju Kurien as his pair and will release in Summer end.
