Last year, lady superstar Nayanthara had starred in the critically acclaimed movie Aramm, where she played a district collector Madhivadhani IAS, who sincerely attempts to save a girl child who falls in a borewell, and succeeds in her mission against all odds, and political and public pressures.
The movie was directed by Debutant Gopi Nainar, who was in news 4 years ago when he had accused AR Murugadoss of copying his script to make Kaththi and betraying him. This movie served as a perfect launchpad for him, as it became a commercial success as well, and earning him the tagline of a socially responsible maker.
Now it has been revealed that Nayanthara has given her nod to star in the sequel of the movie, and that Aramm 2 will again be directed by Gopi Nainar. This time around, as the previous Movie had Madhivadhani IAS resigning from her collector post, might be set in political arena and will speak of another social issue. Aramm 2 is expected to begin shooting from September.
