Supreme hero Sai Dharam Tej has been in one of the worst phases of his career, as his last few releases like Rey, Thikka, Winner, Jawaan, and Inteligent, all bombed badly at the box office, while Sai Dharam was criticised for his aping of Pawan Kalyan mannerisms and Chiranjeevi dances and songs rather than proving himself, and that made him rethink.
Introspecting his career, Sai Dharam Tej decided to go for an image makeover, and had committed to star in a complete romantic flick with romance expert Karunakaran, who had last delivered disastrous flick Endukante Premanta. This movie bankrolled by KS Ramarao has been progressing at a steady pace.
While being scheduled to release this Summer, the industry was filled with news that this out and out romantic entertainer that will see Sai Dharam Tej in a love boy avatar has been titled Andhamaina Chandamama. However, the hero was quick to refute these as mere rumours, and expressed that the title has not been fixed so far. Costarring Anupama Parameswaran, the movie has Gopi Sundar composing music.
