As Viswasam turned out to be a massive blockbuster, Thala Ajith will next move on to AK59, the remake of 2016 Bollywood hit Pink. Directed by Theeran Adhigaram Ondru fame H.Vinoth, the movie is produced by Boney Kapoor's Bayview Projects LLP and Zee Studios together.
As the whole cast and crew have been out, Thala will be paired with Vidya Balan and Yaanji girl Shraddha Srinath will play Tapsee's role while other two girls will be Abhirami and Andrea Tariang. Rangaraj Pandey, Trisha Illana Nayanthara maker Aadhik Ravichandran, Arjun Chidambaram, Aswin Rao, and Sujith Shankar are also part of the team. Recently, Shraddha confessed that she completed a huge chunk of her portion.
Now, there has been a slight delay for Vidya Balan's portions as the team has decided to complete the crucial courtroom scenes at first. The actress is now waiting for her turn. However, she said the remake will be justified.
