Vijay Deverakonda, who impressed in contrasting characters as the happy go lucky youngster in the feel-good romantic entertainer Pellichoopulu and then starred as the doctor with severe anger management issues in Arjun Reddy, both helmed by debutant makers, had turned out to be a sensational star, thanks to his raw, realistic performances filled with swag.
Post these blockbusters that elevated him to stardom, Vijay Deverakonda will be seen next in Taxiwaala, directed by debutant Rahul Sankrityan. Bankrolled by UV Creations and GA2, the team Taxiwaala revealed a teaser and it got a huge response on the social media.
The movie is touted to be a youthful entertainer, with supernatural elements and sci-fi quotient involved. Taxiwaala has Priyanka Jawalkar making her debut as the female lead, while Vijay Deverakonda's Yevade Subramanyam costar Malavika Nair plays an important role. The makers once again confirmed the date and the movie will release worldwide on May 18.
