Shalini Pandey who is all set to make her debut in Tamil has faced an unexpected trouble. PETA is a nongovernmental organization that is often in News for fighting for animal rights and protection and welfare, and has often got into controversies time and again, with their stand against several films for usage of animals in the movies.
Not just Peta but their ambassadors too get into trouble way back in India, for example, Peta ambassadors like Trisha, Dhanush were some of the few celebrities who had been dragged into controversies during the Jallikattu protest times just because they were PETA ambassadors and were trolled and abused.
Now, the controversial organization has hit the news again, as they've raised their voice against a Tamil movie. Gorilla, a Tamil movie starring Jiiva and Shalini Pandey has got into trouble as the Peta has told them not to make the movie with a real chimpanzee and use computer-generated VFX monkey like how Hollywood movies like planet of apes did. However, the movie's team and its Director Don sandy are yet to respond on this issue.
