The romantic entertainer Sammohanam, directed by promising maker Indraganti Mohanakrishna, after scoring back to back hits, Gentleman and Ami Thumi, and starring Sudheer Babu and the Bollywood babe Aditi Rao Hydari, has been in news, ever since the movie was initiated.
The movie gained more mileage, with the teaser released by none other than Megastar Chiranjeevi, and the crisp teaser has been appreciated by many and it is the debut in Telugu for the royal beauty of Wanaparthy dynasty Aditi Rao Hydari, who has dubbed her own lines for the first time, Sammohanam naturally carries huge expectations.
While it was evident from the teaser that Sammohanam is the love story of an illustrator played by Sudheer Babu, who falls in love with the actress Sameera played by Aditi Rao Hydari and tries to bring out the simple girl inside the tinsel town showgirl. However, rumors have begun that the movie was a rip off of the 1999 Hollywood blockbuster Notting Hill starring Julia Roberts and Hugh Grant, which had a similar Plot.
However, Sudheer Babu has refused these as mere rumors and said that Indraganti Mohanakrishna ha penned the story of Sammohanam while making Golconda High school and that it has no connection with Notting Hill. Sammohanam releases worldwide on June 15.
