Director Surender Reddy, known for his action-packed mass masala entertainers like Race Gurram, Kick, Athanokkade, Dhruva to name a few, had last directed mega Powerstar Pawan in Dhruva and is now directing his dad Megastar Chiranjeevi's Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy.

The movie, that is about the life and times of one of the earliest freedom fighters of Andhra, Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy, stars Megastar Chiranjeevi in the title role, and the film has been progressing at a rapid, with Big B Amitabh Bachchan joining the cast last month for his special cameo as Narasimha Reddy's mentor and lady superstar Nayanthara joining the shoot as Chiru's pair.
Now, the latest update is that Surender Reddy recently shot few sequences with the latest addition to the cast, Ravi Kishan who plays a village head who joins with Chiru to fight the British. Ravi Kishan had previously starred in Surender Reddy's Race Gurram and Kick 2. Sye Raa also stars Vijay Sethupathi, Tamannaah, Jagapathi Babu and Sudeep.
