The gorgeous Akkineni family Princess Samantha Akkineni is all smiles as she has been having a great year in terms of films as her last release, the Ramcharan starrer Rangasthalam directed by Sukumar turned out to be a blockbuster with collections of more than 200 crores gross, making it a Non-Baahubali industry hit.
Post the success of Rangasthalam, Samantha will next be seen this week in her Tamil movie Irumbuthirai starring Vishal and action king Arjun in important roles. The film has Samantha playing an army psychologist Rathi Devi who falls in love with the army officer played by Vishal. The movie revolves around the theme of Cyberterrorism.
Recently during a press interaction, Samantha revealed that after she had listened to the narration of Irumbuthirai from debutant director Mithran Saravanan, she had become terrified to touch her phone as she was confused and worried if such things happen around. Samantha said that she had not faced such situations, fortunately. Irumbuthirai will also be releasing in Telugu simultaneously as Abhimanyudu on May 11.
