Chiyaan Vikram, who was last seen on silver screens in the action-packed entertainer Sketch directed by Vijay Chandar and Costarring Tamannaah, where he had played a local goon and an expert in the seizure of vehicles, is all set to be seen next on screens in the complete contrasting avatar of a cop.

Yes, the actor had been busy shooting for his cop flick, Saamy Square aka Saamy 2, the sequel to his 2003 blockbuster Saamy directed by the same maker Hari, and this sequel will be having him paired with Trisha and Keerthi Suresh, and Bobby Simha playing the principal antagonist. There were reports that Trisha is definitely in the movie. But now we get confirmed reports that Trisha is not playing any role!

While Sammy Square bankrolled by Shibu Thameens was initially scheduled to release on June 14 as an Eid treat by Vikram for his fans, the postponement of Superstar Rajnikanth's Kaala to June 7 meant that Saamy 2 could not release as planned. However, as a first step, the first look poster and teaser of Saamy Square are both set to be released by May end. Vikram plays dual roles as Aarusaamy and Ramsamy in this cop flick.
