Thala Ajith, as he is fondly called by his millions of die-hard fans, was last seen in the 2017 blockbuster spy thriller Vivegam, directed by Siva. The superstar is all set to be seen next, in the same maker's next movie, Viswasam. which is currently on the shooting mode.
Bankrolled by Sathyajyoti films which produced Vivegam as well, this movie will be an out and out village entertainer on the lines of Siva - Ajith combo's first hit Veeram and has lady superstar Nayanthara paired with Ajith, for the 4th time, after Billa, Aegan, Arrambam.
While the film had a delayed start to shoot post the tamil cinema strike, the team which is currently shooting on a fast track mode, with the plan to release the movie for Diwali. Choreographed by Brinda. the team has already also completed shooting of 2 songs composed by D Imman, a massy folk number, and another montage song. It has been rumored that Ajith might be playing dual roles of a father and son.
