Akkineni Akhil, who was last seen in the Christmas 2017 release Hello directed by Vikram Kumar, is under pressure to score a success, as his debut Akhil by VV Vinayak as well as Hello had failed bigtime despite being directed by established makers.

It has been announced that Akhil 3 will begin shooting in London after extensive pre-production and location scouting was done, and the movie will be shot mostly in London. Costarring Niddhi Agerwal, the romantic entertainer is tentatively titled Mr. Majnu. It should be noted that Niddhi is pairing with Chay for 'Savyasachi'.
