The ever controversial hero Simbu aka STR, had been lying low, post an unexpected huge weight gain, the failure of his last flick Anbanavan Asarathavan Adangathavan, directed by Aadhik Ravichandran, and the controversies related to Simbu's punctuality and bathroom dubbing that ended with a huge loss.
However, the hero is now back in action, as he has already wrapped shooting for his next flick, the much-expected multistarrer Chekka Chivantha Vaanam directed by ace maker Maniratnam, and there is also news of him uniting with Dhruvangal 16 maker, the overrated Karthick Naren for a project.
Recently, the fun filmmaker Venkat Prabhu, known for his hits like Chennai 28 1 and 2, Saroja, Mankatha, Briyani and is awaiting the release of his Party, took it to twitter to announce that his next movie which will release in 2019, will be a fresh script with Simbu, bankrolled by Suresh Kamatchi, and that it will not be a sequel. The rest of the cast and crew will be out soon.
