Of late, it has become common for music directors to turn to act, as Vijay Antony started it, and became a popular actor, and was followed by GV Prakash, who had also starred in several hit movies. Even Bollywood had witnessed Himesh Reshammiya playing hero in several movies.
Now, yet another talented music composer is all set to don the greasepaint, and it is gonna be none other than the national award-winning Mallu music director Gopi Sunder. The most loved Mallu composer has also worked in Tollywood, in flicks like Premam, Bhale Bhale Magadivoy, besides the upcoming Sailaja Reddy Alludu and Geetha Govindham to name a few.
Gopi Sundar is all set to make his debut as a hero, with the Malayalam movie Tollgate, directed by debutant Hari Krishnan, and the first look poster of the movie, with Gopi clad in a hoodie, was launched by Dulquer Salmaan. The movie which has music composed by Gopi Sundar himself will be an action thriller.
