Dusky beauty Amala Paul, who was last seen in the disastrous Malayalam remake movie Baskar Oru Rascal in Tamil opposite Aravind Swamy, had been devoid of many films in her kitty and had been looking out for that one elusive project to help establish her career.
The actress has now bagged an interesting project, as Amala Paul has been roped in to play the lead role in a movie named Aadai, directed by Rathna Kumar, who had earlier directed the movie Meyaadha Maan, and this movie will have Amala as the pivotal character.
It has been said that though this is a female-centric movie, it won't be a feminist movie or a horror comedy or the usual theme touched by female-centric films and that it will talk on a relevant social issue in a never before angle. More details on this project will be announced sooner. Amala Paul also has Adho Andha Paravai Pola in Tamil and Aadujeevitham in Malayalam in her kitty.
