Two Telugu films are recommended for Oscar nominations in the category of best foreign language film award category. Popular actor Tanikella Bharani’s directorial debut film ‘Mithunam’ and Well-known writer JK Bharavi’s latest film ‘Jagadguru Adishankara’ films have been sent to Film federation of India for considering best foreign language film award category.
The Telugu films producers’ council has announced that the two films have been nominated for the Oscar in the category of Best Foreign Language Film Award.
The message oriented films ‘Mithunam’ and ‘Jagadguru Adishankara’ have received critical acclaims and impressed many in the industry, but both they failed to taste success at box-office.
The team of both films deserves the honour of getting awards for their efforts to enlighten the people through the medium of cinema. Apherald wishes the both films team to be selected from India and bring the prestigious Oscar award to India and make telugu people proud.
