Senior hero Arvind Swamy had made a stunning comeback in 2015 with the action thriller Thani Oruvan costarring Jayam Ravi and directed by Mohan Raja, and later starred in movies like Bogan. He had become the style icon of Tamil cinema by then, with his uber-stylish acts in movies.
Though his last release, the Malayalam remake Bhaskar Oru Rascal costarring Amala Paul and directed by Siddique had turned out to be a disastrous outing, he has multiple projects lined up for release. His next release is gonna be with his mentor Maniratnam, and the movie, Chekka Chivantha vaanam releases on September 28.
Now, it has been revealed that Arvind Swamy has been signed to play the lead in an action thriller to be directed by Rajapandi of Achamindri and Yennamo nadakuthu fame and that this movie will have him paired with the sexy beauty Regina Cassandra. Regina Cassandra was last seen in a sensuous two piece bikini avatar oozing oomph in the dud Mr. Chandramouli.
