Young actor Kartikeya had made his debut with the July release RX100, directed by debutant Ajay Bhupati and costarring the sensuous debutant beauty Payal Rajput and the movie which released with minimal expectations, went on to become a blockbuster.
Even as the movie has successfully crossed the 50 days mark and is running successfully in select screens with 5 times the returns on investment, Karthikeya has been receiving several interesting offers and he has signed a biggie, a bilingual in Tamil and Telugu.
This biggie will be bankrolled by Kalaipuli S Thanu known for producing movies like Kabali, Kaaka Kaaka, Aalavanthaan, Kandukondain Kandukondain, Kandasamy etc, and has been titled as Hippi. Directed by SIllunu Oru Kadhal and Nedunchalai fame Krishna, the movie has cinematography by RD Rajasekhar.
