A new genre is slowly building up in the Indian cinema and it is the biopic. This is quite high in Bollywood and recently films like ‘Paan Singh Tomar’ ‘Bhagat Singh’ ‘Bhaag Milkha Bhaag’ have got very good response from the audience. Now, the same concept is being applied in Tollywood, as per sources.
It is heard that plans are underway to come up with biopics on two big stalwarts of Tollywood. They are N T Rama Rao and Chiranjeevi. Both of them have made their careers right from scratch and came to rule the Tollywood industry for long periods. Even today, they have a lot of craze among cinema buffs.
But there is a small concern. It is heard that those who are preparing to do these biopics are not very well known or experienced filmmakers. So, there is a good chance that they may not be able to get authentic material to portray the Biopic properly and deliver that same emotion like how Bollywood is doing. Let us see how this will be resolved.
