The year 2008 saw the emergence of Sun pictures, and their first production venture happened to be the debutant Prasad directorial venture Kadhalil Vizhunthen starring Nakul who had debuted with Boys, making his first appearance as a hero, and Sunainaa on her Tamil debut.
Despite zero star power the movie made enough buzz thanks to the sensational album composed by Vijay Antony, with songs like Naaka Mukka, Un Thalaimudi, Thozhiya en Kadhaliya etc, and the movie became a hit and the hit pair acted again in Maasilamani.
Exactly after 10 years of release, the superhit romantic pair of Nakul and Sunainaa are coming together for a romantic flick named Eriyum Kannadi directed by debutant Sachin Dev, and the movie which has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja will also star Revathy, Manisha Koirala, Aparna Gopinath and Suresh Menon in important roles.
